This DCS Single Side Burner features a 17,500 BTU sealed burner, Battery ignition and includes stainless steel cover. DCS side burners can be installed in combustible materials with zero clearance from the back, side and bottom. A minimum of 6 inches clearance must be maintained (above the cooking grid) from the back and sides of the side burner to combustible construction. Cutout dimensions (in inches): 12 1/8 W x 12 D x 10 1/8 H.

The HEAT is on!!!
This burner design is simple and provides a lot of heat. It has plenty of heat to blacken (very hot iron skillet) and can be tamed down (simmer setting) to make rice. The wind effects it somewhat but it has never blown out. This is a great addition to any outdoor kitchen or BBQ island.
